Programing your Axiom 25 to work with Fl.Studio

Alot of people “including myself” have been having a hard time programming there new Axiom 25 to work properly with Fl.Studio, I finally learned how to get it working and decided to share the hard work with you all.

O.k before we get started, make sure that your Axiom 25 is on and working, on my computer i have my Axiom connected with Midi cables, and for some reason in the midi settings, it doesn’t say Axiom 25  for the Midi controller, it just shows the name of the sound card im using.

In Fl Studio go to options/midi settings choose the output were your axiom 25 is connected, enable it and for the controller type choose “Tascam Us-428, and close that window.

follow these next steps exactly!

Transport buttons:

Record Button:

1. Press the record Button on your axiom.

2. push the advance button, then hit the “Ctrl Assign” key on your axiom, its the first white key on the left side of your axiom.

3.Now on the keys that are numberd punch in “23″ then hit the enter key.

4. press the advance button again, and now press the “Data 2″ key on your axiom “its one wriiten above one of the black keys”

5. Now punch in the number “20″ dont hit enter yet!, now press the “Data 2″ key and punck in “20″ now hit enter.

“Your recrd button should work.”

Do steps 1-5 for the Play button exactly the same except for step #3 instead of “23″ your going to use “22″

Your going to do the same steps For the Stop,rewind, and forward buttons, with a couple of changes

For step #3 your going to use These #’s to program each button.

And for step #5 when you hit the “Data 2″ key insted of “20″ press “zero” and when you hit the “data 3″ button press “20″

And your done with your transport Buttons.
